Stone Prize
2026 — Open Call
The International Stone Prize is an open-call award dedicated to the discovery, evaluation, and recognition of stones found in everyday environments.
We believe that each stone carries a unique record of time and place. The act of finding — of selecting one object from an infinite field of objects — is itself a form of seeing.
The Prize is open to all. No prior experience is required.
International Stone Prizeは、日常環境で発見された石の発掘・評価・表彰を目的とした公募型アワードです。
すべての石は、時間と場所の固有の記録を刻んでいます。無数の物の中から一つを選び取る行為——それ自体が、ひとつの眼差しのあり方です。
本賞への参加に、特別な経験や資格は必要ありません。
国际石头奖是一个面向公众开放的奖项，致力于发现、评选并表彰在日常环境中被拾取的石头。
我们相信，每一块石头都承载着独特的时间与空间印记。从无数事物中选取一块——这个发现的行为本身，即是一种观看方式。
本奖项向所有人开放，无需任何专业背景。
- 01 Photographs of the stone (minimum three images)石の写真（3枚以上）石头照片（至少三张）
- 02 Title of the work作品タイトル作品标题
- 03 Written statement (100–200 words) — description, circumstances of discovery, or personal reflection石についての説明文（100〜200字程度）——発見の経緯、個人的な考察など石头说明（100–200字）——可包括拾取经过、个人感受或对石头的描述
- 04 Location where the stone was found拾取場所拾取地点
- 05 Contact information連絡先联系方式
All submissions undergo a rigorous two-stage review. Shortlisted applicants will be notified and asked to send their stone by post for final evaluation.
Selected works will receive an official number — Stone #001, Stone #002 — and will be presented in the exhibition alongside the stone itself, its title, statement, and jury commentary.
Award-winning stones will be presented with an official trophy and certificate provided by the organiser.
すべての応募作品は、厳格な二段階の審査を経ます。一次審査を通過した応募者には通知が送られ、最終審査のために石の実物を郵送していただきます。
入選作品には正式な番号（Stone #001、Stone #002……）が付与され、展示空間では石の実物・タイトル・説明文・審査評とともに展示されます。
受賞作品には、主催者より公式のトロフィーおよび賞状が授与されます。
所有投稿将经过严格的两轮评审。通过初审的参与者将收到通知，并需将石头实物邮寄至指定地址，进行最终评选。
入选作品将获得正式编号——Stone #001、Stone #002——并于展览现场与石头实物、标题、说明文及评审评语一同展示。
获奖石头将由主办方颁发正式奖杯及获奖证书。
